I've been searching the net for a while tonight, looking for websites that gather and disseminate marijuana horror stories, i.e. stories from marijuana users who have had run-ins with the authorities and have had their lives altered for the worse. I came up empty.
Many of us know the "big" stories in the marijuana community about people like Charles Lynch and Will Foster, but these things are happening every day all across America. Literally thousands of people who never get their stories heard. I'm going to try and do my part to get their stories out into the world.
Some of you will leave your stories in the comments section, but it would be a big help to me if you'd email them to stonerwire420@yahoo.com. I will be using them for stories on this blog, and also for a radio show I have in the works called "Drug War Unspun." You can stay anonymous of course, but if you want to leave your name and maybe a link to your myspace, facebook, twitter, etc., I'll be sure to give you a plug in thanks for your story.
So if you have a marijuana story, medical or otherwise, where you have come into contact with the authorities and had your career, family, etc., harmed, send it in. Thanks.

Check out the book, Shattered Lives: Portraits of America's Drug War for some absolutely heart-breaking accounts of injustice.
Thanks Danny, will do.
Well the war on drugs has forever made the cops my enemy, mentally physically i get uncomfortable when i see them, not that I hate cops necessarily because they do alot of good things but since marijuana makes us criminals its their job to arrest us, whether they like it or not. i've run into my fair share of chill cops if that's possible or should I say police that use common sense and realize there are more important things then marijuana. I try not to get arrested if possible but I have had my negative police interactions. Ive thrown many an ounce in fear and had to return to whatever area I threw it and search on my hands and knees in fear. When dancing is outlawed, only outlaws will dance.
I've had run-ins with the law.Whenever my group was asked if we were smoking I had a pack of cigarettes and pulled it out and said we were just enjoying some cancer sticks.
my fear of getting busted has sadly lead to an addiction to cigarettes.I need to quit but I have no legal alternative since I have a weak stomach for alcohol, and weed isn't available in my area.I hope the political leaders will
change their stand point and openly dicuss legalization so I can finally kick this disgusting habit, and not have duck down when a car rolls by.
